Dr. Pear M Enam
Founding President - Gastroenterology Associates Meritus Medical Center
Dr. Pear Enam, a Fellow of the American College of
Gastroenterology, served as Founding President of Gastroenterology Associates,
Hagerstown, Maryland, from 1992 to 2024. He held leadership roles at Washington
County Hospital, Meritus Medical Center, and Endoscopy Center at Robinwood. He
co-founded NABIC Center for Humanity, which operates 28 healthcare and training
centers across Bangladesh. He is also the Founding President of the nonprofit
Hagerstown Community for Humanity. He received awards from the BDesh Foundation
(Virginia, 2015), Maryland Governor Larry Hogan (2018), and the Bangladesh
Medical Association of North America (2024).
